About YFT

Yari for Tinubu:
organising the last mile.

YFT is the grassroots mobilisation platform aligned with the APC Presidential Campaign Council — built so that the enthusiasm on the street becomes a structure that can be counted, contacted and mobilised on election day.

The problem

Support is easy to feel and hard to count.

Nigerian campaigns have never lacked crowds. What they lack is the connective tissue between the crowd and the ballot: a record of who supports the ticket, where they vote, and how to reach them the week before the poll.

Paper registers get lost. WhatsApp groups fragment. Numbers quoted in one state cannot be checked in another. By the time a coordinator needs to know how many verified supporters sit in a given ward, the answer is a guess.

YFT replaces the guess. A supporter registers once on their phone and is issued a membership card tied to their state, local government and ward — drawn from the same administrative structure INEC uses. The card carries a unique code and a QR that anyone can verify. The register builds itself, ward by ward, as the campaign moves.

The Director-General’s brief is simple: reach every ward. YFT is the instrument built to make that brief measurable.

How we got here

From mandate to mobilisation.

2023

A mandate begins

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu takes office on the Renewed Hope agenda — subsidy reform, exchange-rate unification and a push to bring investment back to Nigeria.

2026

The council is constituted

The APC unveils its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, with Sen. Abdul'Aziz Yari as Director-General leading the national mobilisation drive.

2026

YFT is built

The campaign needed one place where a supporter could register, prove membership, find their polling unit and carry the record. The YFT app ships as a mobile web app.

2027

16 January

Nigerians go to the polls. Every YFT member should arrive knowing their unit, holding their PVC, and carrying the argument.

Leadership

What we hold to

Four operating principles.

01

Grassroots first

The unit of organisation is the ward, not the rally. Everything in YFT resolves down to where a supporter actually votes.

02

Verifiable, not vague

A membership claim that cannot be checked is worth nothing. Every card carries a code and a public verification page.

03

One message, 36 states

Achievements, news and the voting guide are published once and carried everywhere, so the campaign speaks with one voice.

04

Honest about limits

The app tells members plainly what it is not: it does not replace INEC, and it does not promise what a federal agency alone can deliver.
