108 members.
Six zones. One mandate.
Constituted in August 2026 with the President as Chairman and the Vice President as Vice Chairman, the council is the structure through which the 2027 campaign is planned, funded and delivered — down to the ward.
The principals.
The council sits above the party’s state chapters and coordinates the presidential campaign nationally — messaging, mobilisation, logistics and compliance.

Director-General
Sen. Abdul’Aziz Yari
Former Governor of Zamfara State, past Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Senator for Zamfara West.
Full profileA director in every geopolitical zone.
No zone is treated as safe and none as written off. Each zonal director carries the campaign into the states beneath them, and the same figures and message travel with it.
Structure, law, and a digital arm.
Down to the ward
Mobilisation is organised through 774 local governments and 8,809 registration wards. The council's job is to make sure the structure reaches the polling unit, not just the state capital.
Inside the Electoral Act 2026
The council operates under the Act signed on 18 February 2026 — contribution limits, candidate spending caps, a ban on parties holding foreign funds, and mandatory expenditure reporting.
YFT, the digital arm
The YFT app was commissioned as the council's mobilisation platform: verified digital membership, the polling-unit finder, programme routing and one published source for the message.
“More than an election — a conversation with the Nigerian people in every state, every language, every faith about the future we are building together.”
